The door rail is mounted in the ceiling in the opening and the gap in the wall. The pocket sliding doors are opened by sliding the door leaf into the gap in the wall. This space-saving solution creates a smooth transition between two spaces, silent and smooth opening and closing, and maximum transmission of natural light in the house. Pocket and telescopic sliding doors must be mounted while on side of the wall is exposed so that the rail could be mounted into the ceiling in the gap of the wall.

Sliding door constructions made by Dominius are produced without a bottom rail. The rail is attached at the top and the steering mechanism is placed on the floor. Such a design gives a sense of space and helps to maintain the integrity of the separate rooms.

We offer a wide range of glass types based on the function and appearance you would like. You can send us a picture and specifications of the glass you like, and we will choose a corresponding glass.
We do not recommend choosing sliding doors if soundproofing is the main function you seek to have. Sliding doors have many gaps between door leaves and the rail that transmits sound.
We do not recommend choosing sliding doors if you want to separate heated and unheated rooms as the sliding doors have many gaps between the door leaves and the rail that transmit cold/heat.
Yes. We offer a Soft Close mechanism for surface-mounted sliding doors, pocket sliding doors, and sliding doors with fixed side panels. The Soft Close mechanism allows you to open and close the doors silently and smoothly as this option ensures that the door is caught in the last 10 cm by the soft close unit and therefore gently closes in the last piece of the rail.

We offer single or double sliding doors. Each door leaf must slide to its side. Telescopic sliding doors can have 2 or 3 door leaves that can slide to one side into the gap in the wall.
